PhD Opportunities with the REAL Supply Research Unit
Now Open for Applications!
We’re delighted to announce that the REAL Supply Unit has now opened applications for two fully funded PhD studentships, which will begin in September 2026.
We are looking for two exceptional students to strengthen our research team, and reflect our continued commitment to building long-term research capacity in health and social care economics.
These roles offer an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest groups of academic health and social care economists in the UK, contributing to long-term, policy-relevant research that will help shape a more sustainable, resilient and equitable health and social care system.
Hosted within the Centre for Health Economics (CHE) at the University of York, students will receive rigorous training and benefit from a wide range of learning activities and engagement with health and care leaders and decision makers. They will join a vibrant and supportive research environment, internationally recognised for producing high-quality research that influences policy in the UK and beyond.
We are recruiting one home student and one international student, reflecting our commitment to attracting the best talent from across the globe!
So if you or someone you know may be interested and could be a great fit, we encourage you to visit the information page – we would love to hear from you!
