PhD Opportunities with the REAL Supply Research Unit
Now Open for Applications!
We’re delighted to announce that the REAL Supply Unit has now opened applications for a fully funded PhD studentship, which will begin in September 2026. We are looking for an exceptional student to strengthen our research team, and reflect our continued commitment to building long-term research capacity in health and social care economics.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest groups of academic health and social care economists in the UK, contributing to long-term, policy-relevant research that will help shape a more sustainable, resilient and equitable health and social care system.
Hosted within the Centre for Health Economics (CHE) at the University of York, you will receive rigorous training and benefit from a wide range of learning activities and engagement with health and care leaders and decision makers. You will join a vibrant and supportive research environment, internationally recognised for producing high-quality research that influences policy in the UK and beyond.
So if you are interested – we would love to hear from you!
Applications are open now, and close at 9am on Monday 13 July 2026.
